Kingsnakes

Lampropeltis getula ssp.

These are the true jewels of the snake kingdom.
Vibrantly colored in patterns that at times do not even look real.
It is a genuine pleasure to work with these tiny living works of art.

Jokingly referred to as the "poor man's Amel Hognose", which they strongly resemble as neonates.
A golden yellow ground color with bright red polka dots. The red fades as they age but they are one of the prettiest of the Kings.

Jet black with a generous salting of silver flecks. These are stand out animals.

A highly variable Amel with colors ranging from bright yellow to creamy white or lavender.

Clean banded black and white animals. A classic King.

Through careful selection of breeders, I produce a lot of truly exceptional high contrast specimens.
Some are banded, some are aberrant, all are beautiful.

This phase is one of my favorites. Jet black with a gleaming white stripe down the center of the back.

An understated beauty. These animals are varying shades of grey and black with intricate scribed patterns.
Every once in a while you get a little flash of red.

The exact opposite end of the spectrum from the understated Alternas.
Screaming red and orange bands arguably make these the most striking of all the Kingsnakes.
